ANYA Dance™ FOUNDATIONS FAQ's
If you’re just getting started, you might have a few questions and they’re all good ones.
Take a look at a few of the most commonly asked questions about class experiences at ANYA Studios™. We hope you find what you’re looking for, but if you’re still not sure about something, always feel free to drop us an email.
What should I wear to class?
If it’s your first time, you’re probably wondering what to wear. From aerobic/gym wear to comfy yoga pants/leggings and a t-shirt to a whimsical long & flowing skirt, you’ll be dressed just right.
Oversized t-shirts are not ideal as you’ll want to be able to see what’s going on with these new moves.
Plan to dance barefoot!
ANYA Studios™ Location Addess
Is this a dance class, a fitness class, a social outlet, or a whole-self wellness program?
Yes, yes, yes and yes. Women often find ANYA Dance™ classes a rewarding and a super “time-out” for themselves.
Never will you feel you’re “dragging” yourself to class! You’ll look forward to seeing familiar faces, rolling with the comic relief, getting your whole body tuned up . . . and best of all, everyone looks fabulous in a hip scarf (we have plenty!)!
What to Expect
Expect to engage your body as you would a loyal, life-long friend. We dance to feel better, learn what our bodies are capable of, keep what we’ve got, and gain more access to what we want.
At ANYA Studios™ we don’t subscribe to the “no pain, no gain” idea. Expect to engage your body as you would a loyal, life-long friend and have and start moving for enjoyment instead of plain old every-day utility.
Oh, and expect to dance bare foot, to sit down if you need to, speak what’s true, and grow and untangle from the inside out.
What Kind of Women Show Up at ANYA Studios™?
Serious women, large women, shy women, silly women–even little tiny women. Women of every skin tone, culture & creed, spicy women, mild women and the women in-between.
